Hot enough for you? If you’re prone to a shiny t-zone in the warmer months, you’re probably nice and “radiant” right now with these blazing temperatures we have here in the northeast. Blot it out. Instead of powdering throughout the day-which can lead to cakey product build up with some powders-use oil blotting sheets. They only soak up oil and perspiration (girls don’t sweat, we glow) and they won’t disturb your makeup. They’re super convenient, toss em in your purse and away you go. Be sure and read your ingredient labels on your oil blotting sheets, some *cough* Clean & Clear, use mineral oil as their first ingredient. Adding (pore clogging) oil to the very face you are trying to keep matte and shine free. Does not compute. Try the Boscia linens, they are fantastic! Stay cool kittens.

*Tip* I’m almost ashamed to admit this . . . but I know I’m amongst friends. If you are ever without your trusted blotting papers you can pull a MacGyver. Toilet seat covers, available in most public restrooms, will work in a pinch to soak up shine and perspiration. Not glamorous, but it works. You can also use them to blot lipstick. Do it if you dare. Your secret is safe with me.
