Charity Poker Face

This year M.A.C. featured Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper for their Viva Glam campaign. It was the biggest draw for the charity thus far. I am a huge supporter of M.A.C. Viva Glam products, as seen here. The colors are gorgeous and universally flattering and 100% of the proceeds benefit men, women, and children whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS. The initiative has raised over $190 million since its start in 1994. That is a huge amount of money for selling lipstick and lipgloss. Behold the power of beauty.

M.A.C. has asked Lady Gaga to come back for next year and go it alone. The sneak peeks of her ads are beautiful {see first image above}. I love the smoky eye juxtaposed with the porcelain perfect skin and soft yet defined lip. She looks so ethereal and pretty princess and I’m digging the diamonds and pearls. Now this is a Lady Gaga look I can get behind, as opposed to this one. Until next year’s new Viva Glam color is released you can shop Lady Gaga’s 2010 lipstick here. Give back while you get glam.

What do you think of the new Lady Gaga ads?

Given that I am a total GLEEK, here is my all time favorite version of Poker Face.

I’ve been such a bad commenter lately, Bre! So sorry!

I do like this look on Gaga, but I have to say that the lip color is a little pale for my preferences. I prefer something with a little more punch. (But it is nice to see Gaga looking more refined!)
