The calendar confirms it. Fall has arrived. Time for some of my favorite things: boots, jeans, cozy knits, and hats. But I don’t want to get a head of myself. I’m a big fan of transitioning into new seasons starting with the smallest detail-and that means my nails and makeup {more on that next week-stay tuned}. I subscribe to the Rachel Zoe logic of more is more. That being said, you know I love me some nail polish-and I find myself always wanting more! While I love the pastels and brights that accompany the spring and summer months, my heart really belongs to the polish and edge that fall brings with it every year. I don’t know about you, but I have been craving duskier, sexier options and the slew of new fall colors available more than deliver. Without further adieu, my comprehensive guide of nail polishes for fall:
Is it green? Is it gold? Who the hell cares, it’s bloody gorgeous and one of my favorite metallics for fall.
*Spoiler alert* rust colors are going to be huge this season, both in fashion and in makeup. Pick up this burnt sienna shade while you can.
This beautiful, luminous shade was used in Derek Lam’s fall 2011 show. Need I say more?
Grey is not only a surprisingly wearable color, it’s also endlessly chic. This dark grey from NARS is a must.
Jewel tones and fall go hand in hand. Try this rich and regal purple at your next manicure.
I am all for adding sparkle and shine to my everyday look, this silver transitions seamlessly from day to evening.
This burgundy wine is vampy and sexy, and will pair perfectly with any outfit.
A tried and true that will always be classic. Pair this vibrant red with your red lipstick for a timeless look.
Ginger + Liz in Got My Groove Back
This precious metal shines like liquid gold, perfect for fall and festive parties come winter.
China Glaze in Westside Warrior
It wouldn’t be fall without army inspired pieces in your closet and army green polish on your nails.
Deborah Lippmann in Brick House
If you have been paying attention, metallics and foils are having a major moment this season. Cover all your metal bases with silver, gold, and this copper.
Sonia Kashuk in Mauveing On Up
Fall nail polishes aren’t all hard, some shades are downright sweet like this pretty mauve.
I know what you are thinking. Teal is for summer-it’s not, trust me. This color is so vibrant and fun.
Neutral shades like beige and camel are staples for fall. This beige is classy and ideal for the workplace.
I love deep navy, I think it’s a fresh, more contemporary alternative to black. This deep, pretty option really sparkles in the light.

Have you tried any of my fall picks yet? What nail polishes will you be wearing this fall? I want to see some brands/shades!
Have a beautiful weekend, everyone!

This post couldn’t have come at a better time! After I catch up on my favorite blogs, my game plan is to remove the hot pink nail color on my toes and opt for a steel-y grey: my favorite part of fall style. Also, I need that Essie nail color in Very Structured. Gorgeous!
