When you love Halloween as much as I do, that means all aspects of the holiday. The candy {obviously and seasonal candy is far superior to regular candy}, the pumpkin and apple picking, the costume planning, the scary movies on TV, admiring everyone’s outdoor decorations, the local hayrides and haunted houses. These are things I look forward to every year. I had planned to partake in some of these time honored traditions this past weekend, but a nasty stomach bug curtailed my plans. What was a girl to do? Peruse the internet for all things Halloween and stumble across a highly addicting site that’s what! Google’s photo editor site, Picnik, has been newly updated with lots of fun and spooky Halloween effects. Upload your pictures and make your images worthy of a horror film poster. You can add creepy fonts, costumes, borders, stickers, special effects, and make it appear as if you are a zombie or vampire. The easy-to-use application is free with an option to upgrade for premium {read: even cooler} effects. You can e-mail them to friends or post them to your Facebook account. I warn you again, this photo editor app is extremely addictive.  I may need to upgrade to premium as “ghosting” images and printing them would be a great addition to my existing Halloween decorations… The possibilities are endless! Check it out and let me know what you think! Here are some of my Picnik creations:

Zombie attack survivor

I see another trip to NYC in my future

Going incognito to trick the paparazzi

New member of the Cullen family {non vegetarian}

Just another day at the office...
