I am a huge advocate of the transformative power of makeup, in particular the magic a lipstick bestows upon its wearer. It’s quick and completely alters the face. None more so, than the revered and feared, red lipstick. We all buy it, but the tubes are languishing, untouched, at the bottom of our makeup bags and drawers. Why…? Fear of the unknown. It could look clownish! Garish! 80′s (and not in the good way). “Red lipstick doesn’t look good on me.” To which I resolutely answer, FALSE. You just haven’t found the right one yet. I’d like to find my magic marker someday too! I really love red lips but my lips are so tiny I look more like a geisha than a clown. =(

@Juli Everyone can rock red lips! If your lips are on the smaller side, try a red lip gloss. The gloss will reflect light and make your lips appear larger. M.A.C. lipglass in Russian Red is a great choice. Good luck!
