Revlon’s global artistic director Gucci Westman featured an exotic Eastern-inspired look for the show by pairing a strong brow with rosy, sculpted cheeks, to depict Oscar de la Renta’s vision of a chic Eastern traveler.
Westman envisioned a natural, even toned look and kept concealer {Revlon PhotoReady Concealer} and powder {Revlon Colorstay Powder} to a minimum to keep the skin’s natural radiance.
For an outdoorsy, healthy flush Westman used her fingers to apply a mix of Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks in Candy Pink and Fuchsia.
A silver gray eye shadow, from the Revlon ColorStay 12H Eye Shadow Quad in Silver Fox, was applied on the lid and under the lower lash line for a soft, smoky eye. The eyes were defined with a slick of Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black before being smudged and greased up with the classic Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, for a light reflecting effect.
Keeping with the chic traveling woman aesthetic, Westman applied rosy pink lipsticks from the Revlon Limited Edition Lip Palette in Bordeaux in the Snow, which will be available in the Fall. For models with darker skin tones, she used her fingers to press Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry into their lips for a berry pout.
For a strong brow, Westman brushed the brows up and filled them in with Revlon Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown.
What do you think of this look? Does this make you want to head to the drugstore as much as I do?
