This weekend kicks off my prom season and I have to admit, I’m excited. I know prom is a tired cliche-so much so that Disney made a movie about it-but let’s be real, aside from weddings, how many times do you get the opportunity to get really dressed up? I enjoy doing prom makeup because the girls are fun and adventurous when it comes to color and they always come armed and prepared with celebrity images. To that end, I would not be disappointed if any of my prom clients request any of the following looks.

Are any of you going to prom? If you have already been {or it’s been years past like yours truly} what are some of your memories? Anything you wish you could go back and change? I, for one, would not have opted for full length dresses, they just languish away in storage whereas a cocktail dress I could wear again. On the plus side, I loved that I went as a group date to my senior prom, it made it all the more fun. If anyone is wondering, no, I don’t have any hair or makeup regrets
