Ready, Set, Glow!

When I have skincare consultations with clients, and I tell them they need to give their new skincare routine at least two to three months to see visible improvements, or at least 57 days for a retinoid, I can see they’re disappointed. I understand my client’s impatience-in the frenetic world in which we live, we want immediate results. We like to see our hard work pay off in the form of instant gratification. Great skin takes diligence and patience. When it comes to skin care you don’t often have products that provide an immediate, positive outcome. However, there are a few notable exceptions, products that you can use to garner instant results.

{Masks offer immediate skin brightening benefits}

The quickest way to see immediate and visible improvement in the skin is to exfoliate and moisturize. Sounds simple enough and yet so many women overlook it and are in turn doing their skin a huge disservice. My loyal readers know that I cannot extoll upon the virtues and benefits of exfoliating and moisturizing enough. Exfoliating sweeps away dulling, dead skin leaving fresh, luminous, smooth skin behind. Moisturizing softens and smoothes the skin, and plumps up the skin, helping to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, the more hydrated the skin, the better it looks. Every skin type and age can benefit from exfoliating and moisturizing. If you want an immediate glow and radiance for a night out or a much needed pick me up, look to any of the “glow getting” following products:

Chemical peels- Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel, Philosophy Microdelivery Peel Pads, Eminence Yam and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel.

Moisture masks- Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque, SK-II Facial Treatment Mask, Clarins Skin Smoothing Eye Mask, Jan Marini C-ESTA Facial Mask.

Choose one from each category and you will have scrupulously smooth and glowing skin.

What are your favorite products for instant gratification? Do you use masks before a big night out-or is that just me?
