Salty Hair

I suffer from delusions of grandeur when it comes to hairstyles. I tend to put the hair on a pedestal so to speak. With overwhelming hair can you blame me? I flip through magazines and find myself being drawn to the same look over and over, imperfect tousled beach inspired waves. I love it! I can’t get enough of the carefree, disheveled style. The delusions being that my own hair can never quite replicate the look without professional {and divine} intervention. It’s funny that such an imperfect and carefree style can be anything but to create. I have already shared with you my frustrating lack of hair styling skills here, and I have been making a conscious effort to learn how to recreate some of my favorite styles at home. Sometimes this can be as simple as my putting skincare or makeup down in a store and picking up hair products or tools instead. This is huge for me. Baby steps my dear readers. To that end, here are some hair inspiration pictures I have been saving obsessing over.

Do beachy waves make you swoon too? Do you have a favorite celebrity that always gets beachy waves right? Tomorrow, I’ll share some of my favorite products for getting California-cool hair.

I wish my hair would naturally do that!

I have looked at all those photos myself and thought, “why doesn’t my hair ever look effortlessly wavy like that?” If we had a personal stylist daily doing our hair, maybe it would happen. I think the effortless look, takes a lot of effort.
Thanks for stopping by my site. It means a lot! Teri
