Thank you, Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad, I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done for liquid eye liner. I’ve done countless looks on clients, all hoping to emulate your signature cat eye. You’ve taken a makeup item that is intimidating (to some, not moi) and turned it into a non-threatening beauty staple. Thanks LC. I’m going to miss The Hills, but let’s be real, it hasn’t been the same without you. P.S. I hate Spencer too.

*Blogger’s note* If liquid eye liner is tricky for you, try using a gel formula eye liner and an angle brush. Make little _ _ _ (those are dashes) along your upper lash line, and then go over and fill them in with one stroke. Keep a steady hand, and lift directly above, under the eye brow for an even thin line, if you pull your lid to the side to apply, the line will be thicker at the edges when you snap it back into place. As with anything, practice makes perfect! Don’t attempt if you’re in a rush.

*Revised* If you want to learn how to achieve Lauren’s signature look, you can read my tutorial here.
