Yesterdays post has warmed me, a little, to entertaining the idea of wearing shorts. While I will never wear them with sneakers (as I tell my boyfriend I’m not a tennis star nor do I work at Finish Line) I certainly appreciate the way they look paired with heels and sandals. I still need some inspiration and who better to look to than two of my girl crushes, Sienna Miller, and Rachel Bilson.
So it appears I have some shopping to do. Looks like I need the ubiquitous jean shorts (I refuse to call them jorts) shorts with a scalloped hem, suede and leather shorts. I would also like to add lace shorts to the mix. You can take me out of my skirts and dresses, albeit temporarily, but I still need my feminine details!

Rachel Bilson is a fantastic fashion inspiration. I love when she wears the lace-up sandals with the denim shorts. Adorbs.
